Welcome to the biggest retail automotive e-commerce event ever!
The 4th Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition was a smashing success with more than 550 dealership registrations and 1,200 attendees total.
The beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center was the site of last week’s event, with a 45,000-square-foot exhibit hall and plenty of space for the up to seven concurrent sessions. The venue was the perfect place for the peer networking-heavy event.
“We sold out everything,” said Michael Roscoe, Chairman of the event. “We sold out all our booth spaces, all our food and beverage sponsorships, all our title sponsorships, our room block…if it was for sale, it got sold,” Roscoe continued. “We beat the 300 dealership registrants from last fall by more than 83%. This conference was a smashing success!”
Exhibitors reacted to the dealer/manager traffic with such comments as: “Just the first night was worth it,” “Best exhibiting experience ever,” and “We’re getting a bigger booth next time.”
Many dealers and managers, stopping Roscoe to thank him for putting on the conference, were enthusiastic. Comments like “Great peer networking,” “Great selection of sessions,” “Great hotel,” and “We’ll be back in the fall,” were typical.
When asked how the Digital Dealer events have more attendance than all other similar but smaller events combined, Roscoe said, “It’s because of two things…the power of the multi-media of Dealer Communications and the relationship we have with this audience, neither of which can be duplicated by anyone else. We use our own media to promote our events, the same print and electronic media that we sell, plus there’s a level of trust between dealers and managers and Dealer Communications”
The next event, the 5th Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition, will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, six minutes from the DFW airport, October 5th-8th.
